Job Openings!
September Potluck
Join us September 7 at 6:00 pm for our monthly potluck. This month's potluck is sponsored by the United Methodist Men. Come celebrate "Grandparents Day". A prize will be given to the "oldest grandparent", the "youngest grandchild" and the family with the most generations. Please bring a "grand" dish.
Food Pantry Schedule
Our Food Pantry is open the second and fourth Thursdays of each month from 10:00 am until 1:00 pm.
Life Line Screening
Good Shepherd United Methodist Church is hosting a Life Line Screening on Monday, August 25. Life Line Screening will be performing a variety of preventive tests that include: Ultrasound and blood tests for stroke (carotid artery), abdominal aortic aneurysm (AAA), peripheral arterial disease (PAD), osteoporosis, cholesterol, triglycerides, glucose levels, C-Reactive Protein (CRP), and Afib/EKG (Atrial Fibrillation, ekg) testing for irregular heartbeat, Blood tests are conducted with a finger-stick sample and results are completed in less than 10 minutes. You must pre-register by calling 1-800-324-1851. Affordable prices vary, depending on which tests you choose. Please call soon, as appointments fill quickly!
Youth News
Our WIRED (Worship, Invitation, Relationships, Extending a Hand) Youth Group has returned. They meet Sundays from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This is for ages 13 to 18 years. There will be studies, discussions, prayers, fun, food, games, field trips and opportunities to connect with other youths.
RealLife Worship is Going Strong!
