Rev Sue Harmon

Sue retired from the Air Force in 2007 after spending twenty years in clinical laboratory management and operational test and evaluation.  Sue became a member of Good Shepherd in Nov 2008 when she was a certified candidate for ordination.  Sue was commissioned as a provisional deacon in June 2010, and began serving as assistant minister of congregational care in July 2010.

Sue holds a Masters in Specialized Ministry in Pastoral Care from Iliff School of Theology.   She is a trained Stephen Minister, and she has completed four units of clinical pastoral education.  Feeling called to share the journey with those who are suffering, Sue concentrates her work in pastoral care, visiting the sick, the imprisoned, and entering into holy conversation with those who are troubled.

Sue enjoys travel, and she has traveled extensively in the US and around the world.  Sue especially loves spending time in the mountains where she enjoys fishing, hiking, and being out in God’s creation and communing with God.  She loves to read anything from fiction to theology.
