Emergency Food Pantry

Our Emergency Food Pantry is open every Thursday from 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. We provide a three-day supply of nutritious food to individuals and families experiencing hardship or crisis.

Food assistance includes a variety of nonperishable items such as cereal, soup, canned fruits and vegetables, pasta, pasta sauce, peanut butter, jelly, and canned or frozen meats. When available, we also offer fresh produce, dairy products, and other perishable items.

The pantry is supported through generous donations from our congregation, local community, and Care and Share Food Bank For Southern Colorado. Each month, dedicated volunteers from Good Shepherd help serve our neighbors with compassion and care.

Pantry Information

Because we operate as an emergency food pantry, assistance is limited to once per month per household.

The pantry is closed on national holidays and may also close during severe weather conditions for the safety of our volunteers and guests.

Ways You Can Help

Donations from our congregation and community help keep our pantry shelves stocked and allow us to continue serving individuals and families in need. Donations of canned and shelf-stable food may be placed in the shopping cart outside Cooper Hall.

Financial donations are also welcomed by personal check or through online giving.
