From The Desk of Pastor Peter Lee
June Pastoral Message
As we pass the midpoint of 2026, it is time to look back on how we began this year. Do you remember the resolutions or determinations you made for your journey of faith? What did you determine and promise for yourself before God? Are we continuing to keep those promises, or do we not even remember them?
May 2026 Pastoral Message
May is truly the season of the family—a time to pause and cherish the gift of those closest to us. When I reflect on the word "family," I am reminded of my own life journey. If I were to describe it in one phrase, it would be: "Always leaving my comfort zone," much like Abraham’s journey of faith.
April 2026 Pastoral Message
How is your soul? This question was asked by John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, whenever he encountered people for the first time. When we ask this question instead of asking "how have you been" or "how are you," it might feel awkward. But imagine how normal it is to ask this question between people. Also, it shows how much they care for each other’s soul.
March 2026 Pastoral Message
Lent is, at its heart, a season of deep reflection on the love and sacrifice of Jesus Christ. When we truly grasp what Jesus has done for us, we are moved beyond simple words of thanks; we are compelled to ask: How can we live our lives in return for such a sacrifice?
February 2026 Pastoral Message
Let us lean on our faith. While we may not have all the answers for why these losses occurred, we have a Savior who holds us in the midst of them. We do not mourn as those without hope. Let us strengthen one another, pray for those who are hurting, and show up for each other as the body of Christ.
January 2026 Pastoral Message
What we need is not just a New Year’s resolution, but a New Year’s revolution. As Christians, we are called to something deeper—a transformation of our hearts that changes how we live and follow Christ. This brings us to our vision for the New Year.
