2026 November Pastor Message

Dear Church Family,

As we prepare for our Charge Conference...

Reflecting on my fourth year of ministry at Good Shepherd Church, my heart overflows with deep gratitude. I thank God continually for blessing me with such a loving and grace-filled church family. I am especially grateful for your unwavering support, faithful prayers, and steadfast dedication.

By God’s grace, our ministries have flourished in meaningful ways over the past year:

  • The Food Pantry continues to be a vital lifeline for our community, opening its doors every Thursday from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. to serve a growing number of individuals and families in need.

  • Our Children’s Ministry remains a constant source of joy and life. Thanks to our dedicated families, our children experienced a wonderful Vacation Bible School, vibrant Sunday School classes, and a lively Trunk-or-Treat event that welcomed over 200 people. Through these gatherings, our young ones are deeply learning and experiencing the love of Christ.

  • The Prayer Chain continues to be a strong pillar of comfort and spiritual unity among us.

  • The Shepherd’s Caring Ministry meets faithfully every Wednesday, extending heartfelt encouragement and prayers to those who need support.

  • Our Women’s and Men’s Groups continue to thrive through monthly fellowship, study, and spiritual growth, enriched greatly by inspiring guest speakers who have guided and strengthened us.

I am also deeply grateful for our wonderful team of staff members who support one another with excellence and grace. We are especially blessed to have filled our team with the addition of our new church secretary. Every staff member has poured their heart into serving our community, and I want to thank everyone who continually encourages, cheers on, and prays for our team. Furthermore, thanks to your incredible effort and dedication, we successfully launched our brand-new church website this year!

We also extend a warm, heartfelt welcome to all who have newly joined our church family. At the same time, we wrap our arms around the families of those who have passed away to be with the Lord this past year; we lift you up in prayer with deep comfort, holding fast to the blessed hope of being reunited in His glory.

All of these blessings are a testament to God’s active grace at work among us. To God be the glory! And thank you, church family, for being the hands and feet of Christ every single day.

In Christ,

Peter Lee

1 Corinthians 16:13

"Be on your guard; stand firm in the faith; be courageous; be strong."

  • Encouraging Message: As we step into a new month and face daily spiritual battles, God reminds us not to live in fear or spiritual apathy. He calls us to stay alert, anchor ourselves deeply in His Word, and walk with bold, God-given courage.

2. For Love in Action (Nov 8 Theme)

1 Corinthians 16:14

"Let all that you do be done in love."

  • Encouraging Message: This short yet profound verse is the summary of Christian living. In our homes, workplaces, and church community, love should be the unshakeable motive and driving force behind every single action and word.

Matthew 6:21

"For where your treasure is, there your heart will be also."

  • Encouraging Message: During this season of thanksgiving and stewardship, this verse gently realigns our priorities. When we invest our time, resources, and love into God’s eternal kingdom rather than temporary things, our hearts naturally follow, filling us with true joy and gratitude.
