2026 August Pastor Message

Dear Church Family,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As we step into the month of August, my prayer is that God’s profound peace and abundant blessings surround you and your families.

“It is what it is.”

These quiet, resilient words were spoken by one of our devoted church members who is now resting peacefully in the arms of our Heavenly Father. After faithfully caring for his beautiful wife until she was called home to heaven, he received his own unexpected cancer diagnosis. As his pastor, what struck me most was not his suffering, but his remarkable grace. He remained steadfast, anchoring his faith in God to the very end, with a heart full of gratitude for the life he was given.

We take great comfort in knowing that this beautiful couple is finally reunited in glory, and we hold onto the promise that we will see them again when our time comes.

Their journey reminds us of a humbling truth: the timing of life and death is ultimately in God’s hands. Because we will all one day step into eternity, preparing for that moment is one of the most significant and loving things we can do—not only for ourselves but for the beloved families we will one day leave behind.

How do we beautifully prepare our hearts to meet the Lord? And how can we equip ourselves and our loved ones to navigate the deep sorrow of loss with heavenly hope?

From August 2nd to September 6th, we will be hosting a special Bible study to explore these profound questions. Together, we will learn how to prepare for our transition into God's presence and how to find strength in seasons of grief. We will be studying the book, “Loss of a Spouse-Navigating the Pain of Grief,” written by Grief & Share Organization ($14)

I warmly invite you to join us. We will gather every Sunday at 11:00 AM in the conference room, right after our time of fellowship. If you have any questions, please feel free to reach out to the church office or Mr. Roy.

May God’s boundless grace and peace continue to be with you all. Thank you for being such a beautiful church family.

With a pastor's love,

Pastor Peter Lee

"My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever."

— Psalm 73:26

"Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you?"

— John 14:1-2
