June Pastoral Message

Dear Church Family,

Greetings in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. As we embark on June, I hope and pray that God’s abundant blessings and grace fill your lives and your homes to the fullest.

As we pass the midpoint of 2026, it is time to look back on how we began this year.

  • Do you remember the resolutions or determinations you made for your journey of faith?

  • What did you determine and promise for yourself before God?

  • Are we continuing to keep those promises, or do we not even remember them?

Just as we have annual physical check-ups for our health, it is vital to do a spiritual check-up. This is because the ultimate goal of our life is not based on earthly things, but on heavenly things. Colossians 3:1-4 reminds us:

"Since, then, you have been raised with Christ, set your hearts on things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God. Set your minds on things above, not on earthly things. For you died, and your life is now hidden with Christ in God. When Christ, who is your life, appears, then you also will appear with him in glory."

Indeed, we will all stand before the judgment seat of God. Based on our journey of faith, God will judge us, and it will be determined if we will live with Him forever. That is why our spiritual check-up must be our first and foremost priority.

To help us examine our spiritual lives, assess where we stand, and determine if we need to make changes to foster a more profound spiritual growth, here are a few questions to consider:

  • Do I have a growing desire to spend more time with God?

  • Am I spending appropriate time praying, reading, and meditating on the Word?

  • Am I loving my family and being a witness in my community?

  • Do I love my neighbor the way Christ instructed?

  • How do I spend my time, and does it impact my church?

Take the time to consider who you are and who God is calling you to be. Do you need to make changes in your spiritual life? Now is the perfect time to do it! Through God’s Word, prayer, worship, and fellowship, we can build up our spiritual growth and come closer to our Lord, Jesus Christ. Wishing you abundant spiritual health and joy!

Lastly, as a reminder, we will have Vacation Bible School on June 1-5 from 9 AM - 12 PM. Also, we will celebrate Father’s Day on Sunday, June 21. Please pray for our church family and these upcoming events, and join us in fellowship.

In His Abundant Grace,

Pastor Peter Lee
